As the Director of Clinical Services, Gennifer is responsible for daily operations surrounding organ perfusion services, and ensuring all organ recovery-related processes maintain the highest quality standards. Gennifer oversees clinical evaluation, donor management, organ allocation, and recovery practices.
“Donation provides hope and saves lives. One individual can potentially save the lives of up to eight people and improve the quality of life for up to 75. I can’t think of a more impactful or selfless gift than that.”
Gennifer has more than 19 years of experience in healthcare, having worked with patients and families across the lifespan. Her background in blood and marrow transplant, hematology and oncology, and solid organ transplant provides a compassionate understanding of the importance of honoring the gift of life. She is passionate about approaching care from a holistic perspective and focuses on providing support and excellence for every patient, family, and community in every interaction.
When she is not working, Gennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, two dachshunds, and her cat. She spends most evenings walking on the beach after dinner, and loves exploring the historic areas of Charleston.
